The tribute below is by DJ to our precious sons' Shane and Jason. We
both believe they are great friends in Heaven and brought us together
to help us travel this long road we are on. I love you so much, DJ.









From Jason to Mom

Mom, I watched you yesterday and saw your pain and tears.
I know your grief and missing me has not diminished at all, I can feel all your fears.
But I am so proud of you Mama, of all that I see you do,
making gifts and reaching out to other Moms who walk in the same shoes.
I hear the love and compassion in your voice as I see other Moms come to you.

I am here with all of their angels and we have become close friends.
We prepare daily for all our families to join us, eternity begins.
I know you have found other moms to talk, cry and share.
I know ya'll feel us with you for we are always there.

A Mom's biggest fear is that we will be forgotten, but this will never be,
For the friendships you are making will last forever,
keep talking about us and sharing our memories.
I know that sometimes all these thoughts of me seem to come rushing thru your mind.
You sometimes feel I deserted you, left you behind.

But I would never do that, my life will be with you and Pop,
Jesus just called me first to help Him prepare the way.
When He comes back to bring all here to Paradise to stay.
Until that day arrives, just keep doing all that you do.
Encouraging others, spreading your love. Just being you.

You make me so proud as I watch from above.
I tell the other angels, watch my Mom, she is love.
We watch over all our Moms and try to send help and
encouragement to help make it thru each day.
Watch closely and you will see the signs we send along the way.

Happy Father's Day Pops

Pop, I wish I could give you a hug, a gift or even just a card.
But I am beside you, by your side at all times,maybe you can even
feel me when I give you a hug if you concentrate real hard.
I send out signs so much and try to do this frequently,
I hear you late at night when you and Mama speak to me.
I answer when I can sometimes although its hard for you to hear.
But many times I'm right beside you, I am always near.

I just wanted to say I love you Dad and tell you Happy Father's Day,
I feel your pain and see your tears, I know its been so hard since Jesus called me away.
But one day we will be together again for all eternity.
Oh, what a wonderful glorious day that will surely be,
I want you to know how much I love you and Mama both and how much I miss ya'll too.
I have thanked God many times for sending me to the best parents in the world,both of you.

Ya'll knew that I had to go that my time had reached its end.
But God gave me almost 20 years, awesome family and so many wonderful friends.
I spent almost 20 years on our blessed earth,
Filling my life with love for music and guitars, right from my birth,
You are my Pop and Mama and will forever be as I will always be your baby boy,
I love you both more than anything in this world.

Friends thru Eternity

We know God and our angel sons put us together to help us make it thru each day.
We know they are always near us because of the pranks they play.
We spent a long time not being able to talk about certain things because we didnt want to cry.
But we share everything about our angels with each other and will question God why?

I'm happy our sons are together with all the other angels in heaven above,
God let us keep them for awhile and they taught us what is love.
We didn't want to let them go for its just not supposed to be this way.
Our hearts have been broken and will remain ever since that horrible day.
We know God understands our confusion and our anger too.
He gave His Son to die for us for sins He didnt do.
But we are not as strong as Him and forever will love and miss our sons.
I know one day we will all be together again, no heart problems or guns.

We will be friends here on earth and even thru eternity,
When we join our angel sons and create new memories.
Im so thankful that our boys helped us see how much we needed a special friend,
Neither of is ever had a sister but now we do and a hand I will always lend,
to help you up after each fall as I know you will for me.
We will remain special friends throughout eternity.
